Southwest District Homicide Arrest

In reference to the homicide that occurred in the Southwest District, Baltimore detectives have arrested 34-year-old Dasianne Richardson.

Richardson was wanted in connection with the stabbing death of 18-year-old Brielle Handy, which occurred on July 25, 2026, in the 3200 block of West Baltimore Street.

On August 1, 2026, Warrant Apprehension detectives arrested Dasianne Richardson and transported her to the Central Booking Intake Facility, where she has been charged with First Degree Murder.

Southwest District Homicide Investigation

On July 25, 2026, at approximately 8 p.m., Southwest District officers responded to the 3200 block of West Baltimore Street for a stabbing.

Upon arrival, officers located an 18-year-old female who was suffering from a stab wound.

The victim was transported to Shock Trauma, where she was pronounced deceased.

Homicide detectives were notified and have assumed control of the investigation.
