Western District Attempted Murder Arrest
In reference to the shooting that occurred on November 25, 2024, in the Western District, investigators have arrested 19-year-old Keon Brooks, 22-year-old Donte Mack, and 18-year-old Justin Griggs.
Through the course of the investigation, Western District detectives were able to identify Brooks, Mack, and Griggs, as the suspects involved in the shooting of a 20-year-old male in the 2300 block of West North Avenue.
On January 15, 2025, detectives arrested all three suspects and transported them to the Central Booking Intake Facility where they were all charged with attempted first-degree murder.

Western District Shooting Investigation
On November 25, 2024, at approximately 2:15 a.m., Western District patrol officers responded to an area hospital for a report of a walk-in shooting victim.
Once there, officers located a 20-year-old male suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. The victim's injuries are believed to be non-life threatening.
Investigators learned the victim was shot while in the 2300 block of West North Avenue, where a crime scene was located.
