Western District Attempted Murder Juvenile Arrest
In reference to the double shooting that occurred in the Western District, detectives have arrested a 17-year-old male.
The 17-year-old suspect was wanted in connection with the shooting of a 21-year-old male and a 19-year-old male in the 600 block of Mosher Street on May 18, 2026.
On July 7, 2026, Warrant Apprehension detectives arrested the 17-year-old suspect and transported him to the Central Booking Intake Facility, where he has been charged with Attempted First Degree Murder.

Western District Shooting Investigation
On May 18, 2026, at approximately 12:48 a.m., Western District patrol officers responded to the 1400 block of Wilmer Court for a report of a shooting.
Once there, officers located a 21-year-old male and a 19-year-old male suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.
Both victims were transported to area hospitals, where they are expected to survive.
Preliminary investigation revealed that the victims were shot while in the 600 block of Mosher Street.
