Western District Shooting Investigation

On July 12, 2026, at approximately 10:08 p.m., officers were patrolling in the area of Pennsylvania Avenue when they were approached by an individual who reported having been shot in the 1200 block of Laurens Street.

The 36-year-old victim sustained an apparent gunshot wound to the body and was transported to an area hospital, where he is listed in stable condition.
