On March 14, 2024, at approximately 12:48 a.m., Southeast District patrol officers responded to an area hospital for a report of a walk-in shooting victim.

In reference to the homicide that occurred in the Northeast District on March 1, 2024, investigators have arrested 23-year-old Derek Steele of Baltimore.
