Southwest District Unarmed Robbery Arrest

On April 8, 2024, at approximately 6:30 p.m., Southwest District patrol officers were dispatched to the 1100 block of West Pratt Street for a robbery investigation. Upon reaching the location, officers spoke with the victim who reported being robbed by two unidentified males. Officers conducting an area canvass and located, two 22-year-old male suspects. Both males were arrested without incident. Both individuals were then taken to CBIF for processing.

Northern District Handgun Arrest

On April 9, 2024 at approximately 7:16 p.m., Northern District DAT officers were conducting proactive patrol in the 1100 block of North Charles Street. During their patrol, they observed an unidentified male displaying characteristics of an armed person. When the officers attempted to stop the male, he fled on foot and was observed throwing a bag that was across his shoulder. The officers apprehended a 22-year-old male, placed him under arrest and recovered the bag along with a loaded Polymer handgun. The suspect was transported to CBIF for processing.

Northern District Stolen Auto Arrest

On April 9, 2024, at around 1:59 p.m., officers were patrolling in the 3300 block of Greenmount Avenue when they observed a vehicle identified as stolen in the area. Officers, with the assistance of Foxtrot members, apprehended the suspect in the 3300 block of Greenmount Avenue. The suspect, a 23-year-old male, will be transported to the Central Booking Intake Facility, where he will be charged accordingly.

Northern District Handgun Violation Arrest

On April 8, 2024, at approximately 7:26 p.m., Northern District Action Team officers were patrolling the 500 block of Turnbridge Road when they observed a male tossing a possible handgun under a vehicle.

Officers immediately seized the loaded handgun and placed the 19-year-old male under arrest without incident.

Officers also seized items from the 19-year-old male suspect before transporting him to the Central Booking Intake Facility where he was charged accordingly.

Southwest District Handgun Violation Arrest

On April 8, 2024, at approximately 7:40 p.m., Southwest District Action Team officers were conducting an investigation in the 3100 block of West North Avenue.

This investigation led to the arrest of a 30-year-old male..

Detectives transported the suspect to the Central Booking Intake Facility where he was charged accordingly.

Southern District Handgun and CDS Seizure

On April 8, 2024, at approximately 7:17 p.m., Officers working out of the Southern District were conducting an investigation in the 4100 block of Fairhaven Avenue.

This investigation led to the arrest of a 28-year-old male, a 20-year-old male and a 26-year-old male. 

All three men were transported to the Central Booking Intake Facility where they were charged accordingly.

Central District Homicide Arrest

In reference to the homicide that occurred in the Central District on April 1, 2024, investigators have arrested 19-year-old Dejuan Cole of Pikesville, Md.

Dejuan Cole was wanted for the fatal shooting of 17-year-old Devron Tyner that occurred in the 200 block of East Pratt Street.

Cole turned himself in to police on April 8, 2024. Officers transported Dejuan Cole to the Central Booking Intake Facility where he was charged with murder in the first degree.
