Youth and Community Partnership Division
The Community Partnership Unit of the Youth and Community Partnership Division is responsible for the following activities:
- Youth & Neighborhood Partnerships -- Neighborhood Policing Plans, Community Engagement, Junior Cadets Program, Youth Advisory Board and more
- Special Liaisons -- Provide a bridge between law enforcement and special populations, including Immigrants, Seniors, Deaf/Hard of Hearing, Neurodivergent and LGBTQIA+ individuals
- Faith-Based -- Volunteer Community Chaplaincy, prayer walks and more
- Hate Crime Trends & Resources -- Monitor trends, provide resources and support
The Unit's initiatives include:
- Seniors/Vulnerable Adults/Neurodivergent Database
- Safe Place
- LGBTQIA+ Advisory Board
