Southeast District Larceny Arrests

On March 14, 2024 at approximately 6 p.m., officers were monitoring the Citiwatch camera located at Dundalk and Holabird when they observed an interaction between individuals engaging in squeegee activity and the driver of a Nissan Sentra.

During the observation, one of the individuals involved in squeegee activity, later identified as 21-year-old Dedric Colvin, was seen reaching into the vehicle and taking the driver's cellphone. Simultaneously, two other individuals engaged in squeegee activity, later identified as 23-year-old Savionne Colvin and a 19-year-old male, were observed repeatedly cleaning the windshield of the vehicle, seemingly as a distraction to extend the interaction.

They were also seen directing other vehicles around the stopped Nissan vehicle in the travel lanes of Dundalk Avenue.

Subsequently, officers responded to the scene and spoke with the driver who reported noticing several Cash App transactions totaling $550, which were taken by the suspects.

All three suspects were promptly apprehended and transported to the Central Bookings Intake Facility for larceny charges. Another driver contacted officers, claiming that the same suspects had taken more than $2,000 from their Cash App account. Additional charges were filed against all three suspects.
