Central District Handgun and CDS Arrest

On April 1, 2024, at approximately 3:13 p.m., Central District Action Team members responded to the 700 block of East Eager Street to investigate complaints of drug activity.

Upon arrival, detectives observed an unidentified male selling drugs in the area. Detectives apprehended the suspect in the 800 block of Abbott Court. The suspect, a 25-year-old male, was transported to the Central Booking Intake Facility, where he was charged accordingly.

Western District Carjacking Arrest

On March 30, 2024, at around 3:24 p.m., officers responded to the 1900 block of West Lanvale Street to investigate a call for an unarmed carjacking. Upon arrival, officers spoke with a female complainant who stated that she was carjacked by an unidentified male in the 1900 block of West Lanvale Street.

The suspect had physically removed the victim from her vehicle and fled the scene with the victim's vehicle. Officers discovered that the suspect had fled into Howard County, where they notified Howard County Officers, who were able to locate the suspect and apprehend him in the 9400 block of Ridgeview Road.

The suspect, a 30-year-old male, was transported to the Central Booking Intake Facility, where he was charged with carjacking and additional charges.

Northern District Robbery Arrest

On March 30, 2024, at around 3:15 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 300 block of Northway to investigate a call for an unarmed robbery.

Upon arrival, officers were advised that an unidentified male had attempted to rob a 74-year-old male in the 400 block of Northway.

The 74-year-old male victim stated that an unidentified male approached him, who stated that he had a gun, and demanded that the victim give him his property.

The suspect then began to rummage through the victim's empty pockets. The suspect had fled the scene on foot, only to be apprehended by officers. Officers transported the suspect, an 18-year-old male, to the Central Booking Intake Facility, where he was charged accordingly.

Northwest District Handgun Violation and CDS Violation Arrest

On March 30, 2024, at approximately 6:59 p.m., Northwest District Action Team members patrolled the 3700 block of Liberty Heights Avenue when they observed a vehicle violate a traffic law.

Officers initiated a car stop on the vehicle and encountered the driver.

During the car stop, officers recovered the property depicted in the attached photo. Officers also discovered that the suspect was prohibited from possessing a firearm. The suspect, a 57-year-old male, was arrested and transported to the Central Booking Intake Facility, where he was charged accordingly.

Southern District Robbery and Stolen Auto Arrests

On March 30, 2024, at around 3 p.m., officers responded to a business in the 1400 block of West Patapsco Avenue to investigate a call for an attempted commercial unarmed robbery.

Upon arrival, officers spoke with a male complainant who stated that several unidentified juveniles physically assaulted him.

The victim stated that several juveniles entered the establishment and attempted to access a room that contained store merchandise. He had tried to stop the juveniles from accessing the room, which led the juveniles to physically assault him and flee the establishment without storing property in an unidentified vehicle. The victim suffered minor injuries and was treated by medics.

A short time later, officers had apprehended the juvenile suspects who had bailout of the vehicle they were in, in the 2200 block of Christian Street. Officers identified five juveniles: a 12-year-old male, a 13-year-old male, two 15-year-old females, and a 17-year-old male. Officers also discovered that the vehicle that the juveniles were driving was a stolen vehicle from Baltimore County. The juvenile suspects were transported to the Baltimore City Juvenile Justice Center.

Western District Stolen Vehicle Arrests

On March 30, at around 6:45 p.m., members of the Aviation Unit (Foxtrot) located and identified a stolen vehicle traveling through the Western District.

Western District officers immediately responded to assist Foxtrot. Upon following the stolen vehicle, a bailout occurred. Officers swiftly apprehended two male suspects, both 19 years old, in the 1400 block of Mountmor Court.

Both suspects were transported to the Central Booking Intake Facility and charged accordingly.

Northwest District Traffic Stop and Arrest

On March 30, 2024, at around 11:30 a.m., Northwest District Action Team members patrolled the 4300 block of Eldorado Avenue when they observed a vehicle driving in the wrong direction. Subsequently, officers initiated a traffic stop and interacted with the driver, identified as a 38-year-old male. Following the stop, officers made an arrest that led to the recovery of property. The suspect received two traffic citations and was transported to the Central Booking Intake Facility, where he faces appropriate charges.
