Northern District Handgun and CDS Arrest

On April 5, 2024, at around 2:20 p.m., Northern District Action Team members were conducting an investigation in the 400 block of Venable Avenue, which led to the arrest of a 25-year-old male and the recovery of the property. Detectives also discovered that the suspect was prohibited from possessing a firearm. The suspect was transported to the Central Booking Intake Facility, where he was charged accordingly.

Central District Robbery Arrests

On Feb. 27, 2024, at around 11 a.m., officers responded to the 1000 block of Hillman Street to investigate a call for an unarmed robbery.

Upon arrival, officers spoke with a female complainant who stated that she was physically assaulted by a group of females within a residence in the 1000 block of Hillman Street.

The victim stated that she was physically assaulted and the suspects had taken her belongings during a verbal dispute over money. As the victim was being attacked, she managed to escape the residence. Detectives assumed control over this investigation, and during their investigation, they obtained warrants for two suspects.

On April 2, 2024, detectives arrested a 36-year-old female regarding this robbery. The suspect was transported to the Central Booking Intake Facility, where she was charged accordingly.

On April 4, 2024, detectives arrested a 43-year-old female regarding this robbery. This suspect was transported to the Central Booking Intake Facility, where she was charged accordingly.

Northeast District Arrest

On April 3, 2024, Citywide Robbery detectives were conducting an investigation. This investigation led to the arrest of a 19-year-old male in the 3600 block on Kenyon Avenue and the seizure of a handgun.

Southeast District Arrest

In the Southeastern District, officers in the area of East Biddle Street made an arrest that resulted in the recovery of one 9mm Hi-Point C9 handgun loaded with six live rounds.

Eastern District Arrest

In the Eastern District officers in the area of Mayfield Avenue made an arrest that resulted in the recovery of one Glock 34 9mm handgun equipped with a switch.

Eastern District Robbery Arrest

On Jan. 17, 2024, at around 5:07 a.m., officers responded to the 2300 block of North Charles Street to investigate a call for a robbery.

Upon arrival, officers spoke with a female complainant who stated that a 28-year-old male robbed her. The victim stated that the suspect had taken her wallet, and as she attempted to stop him, he had physically assaulted her. The suspect had managed to flee the area with the victim's wallet.

Eastern District Detectives assumed control over this investigation. As they further investigated this incident, they identified a suspect and obtained a warrant for his arrest.

On April 3, 2024, members of the Citywide Enforcement Team arrested a 28-year-old male in the 2300 block of Garrison Boulevard. The suspect will be transported to the Central Booking Intake Facility, where he will be charged accordingly.

Northeast District Handgun & CDS Arrest

On April 1, 2024, at approximately 6:05 p.m., officers conducted a vehicle stop on Frankford Avenue at the 650 block and arrested an 18-year-old male driver who had open warrants for Assault and Burglary. During the arrest, officers recovered a Polymer 9mm Handgun and controlled dangerous substances (CDS). A 19-year-old female passenger was also arrested. Both suspects were transported to CBIF and charged with possession of the handgun and CDS.
