BPD investigation leads to the seizure of 15 dirt bikes

Baltimore, Md. (Nov. 14, 2023) – On Nov. 13, 2023, at approximately 10:39 a.m., Baltimore Police Department’s Mobile Metro Unit (MMU) officers executed a search and seizure warrant at a business in the 5300 block of Park Heights Avenue, in the Northwest District.

Investigators were able to seize 15 dirt bikes and ATVs, as well as other evidence that was collected at the scene.

Through the course of the investigation, officers were able to obtain video surveillance and a search warrant. Photos of the seizures may be found here.

Charges are currently pending against the owner of the business. In June 2023, the Mobile Metro Unit executed a search warrant at this same location, seizing 33 dirt bikes. The investigation into this establishment is ongoing.

Since Jan. 1, 2023, officers have seized 168 illegal dirt bikes and ATVs in Baltimore City.
