Central District Attempted Murder Arrest

On September 22, 2023, members of the Warrant Apprehension Task Force and Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force arrested 32-year-old Sterling Coleman of Baltimore in the 3000 block of East Madison Street.

Detectives believe that Coleman shot a 32-year-old male on August 27, 2023, in the 400 block of North Eutaw Street.

Detectives transported Coleman to the Central Booking Intake Facility, where he was charged with Attempted 1st Degree Murder and additional charges.

Central District Shooting Investigation

On August 27, 2023, at approximately 4:15 a.m., officers responded to the 400 block of North Paca Street to investigate a call for a shooting.

Upon arrival, officers observed a 32-year-old male suffering from non-life-threatening gunshot wounds. Medics transported the victim to an area hospital where he is currently in stable condition.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the incident had occurred in the 400 block of North Eutaw Street.

Central District Shooting detectives responded and assumed control over this investigation.
