Central District Homicide Arrest

In reference to the homicide that occurred in the Central District on April 1, 2024, investigators have arrested 19-year-old Dejuan Cole of Pikesville.

Dejuan Cole was wanted for the fatal shooting of 17-year-old Devron Tyner that occurred in the 200 block of East Pratt Street.

Cole turned himself in to police on April 8, 2024. Officers transported Dejuan Cole to the Central Booking Intake Facility where he was charged with murder in the first degree.

Central District Homicide Investigation

On April 1, 2024, at approximately 8:28 p.m., officers responded to the 200 block of East Pratt Street for reports of a shooting.

Once there, a 17-year-old male was found suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.

Medics transported the victim to an area hospital for treatment where, unfortunately, he was pronounced deceased a short time later.

Homicide Detectives are investigating. Anyone with information is asked to contact them at 410-396-2100.
