Eastern District Attempted Murder Arrest

In reference to the shooting that occurred in the Eastern District on February 3, 2024, investigators have arrested 43-year-old Marrico Bell of Baltimore.

Investigators learned that Bell shot the 32-year-old male victim while in the 1500 block of Carswell Street, following a dispute.

On February 9, 2024, detectives arrested Bell without incident. Marrico Bell was transported to the Central Booking Intake Facility where he was charged with attempted first-degree murder.

Eastern District Shooting Investigation

On Feb. 3, 2024, at approximately 5:44 p.m., officers responded to an area hospital to investigate a walk-in shooting victim. Upon arrival, officers observed a 32-year-old male suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. 

Preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was shot in the 1500 block of Carswell Street. 

Eastern District Shooting detectives responded and assumed control over this investigation. Anyone with information is urged to contact detectives at 410-396-2433.
