Eastern District Homicide Arrest

In reference to the homicide that occurred in the Eastern District on October 6, 2023, detectives have arrested 27-year-old Earl Lee of Baltimore.

Investigators learned that Lee fatally shot David Boykins while in the 2000 block of Cliftwood Avenue.

On November 8, 2023, Regional Auto Theft Taskforce officers arrested Earl Lee while in the 700 block of North Ellwood Street. Detectives transported Lee to Central Booking Intake Facility where he has been charged with 1st-degree murder and multiple handgun violations.

Earl Lee is currently being held on a no-bail status.

Eastern District Homicide Investigation

On October 6, 2023, at approximately 6:17 p.m., officers responded to the 2000 block of Cliftwood Avenue to investigate a reported shooting.

Upon arrival, officers located a 28-year-old male victim unresponsive, suffering from a multiple gunshot wound to the body. The victim was transported to an area hospital and was pronounced deceased a short time later by hospital staff.
