Northeast District Homicide Investigation

On February 26, 2023, at approximately 5:54 p.m., Northeast District crime suppression units were in the 5500 block of Bowley’s Lane when they heard discharging.

The officers responded and located three males, ages 21, 18, and 19, who were suffering from gunshot wounds.

The 21-year-old male was pronounced deceased on the scene by Baltimore City medics, while the other two victims were transported to area hospitals.  Their conditions are unknown at this time.

The officers advised they saw the suspect, an unidentified male, but were too far away at the time to apprehend him.

Homicide detectives are on the scene and and are investigating this incident.

Southwest District Homicide Investigation

On February 26, 2023, at approximately 6:32 p.m., officers responded to the 500 block of Edgewood Avenue for a shooting. 

Upon arrival, officers located a 29-year-old male who was suffering from gunshot wounds to his upper torso.

The victim was transported to Shock Trauma where despite medical professionals’ efforts, he was pronounced deceased a short time later.

Homicide detectives responded out and are investigating this murder.
