Eastern District Shooting Investigation

On Dec. 16, 2023, at approximately 5:33 p.m., officers responded to the 1300 block of North Bradford Street in reference to a Shot Spotter alert.

Upon arrival, officers located a 51-year-old male victim suffering from apparent gunshot wounds to the abdomen.

Medics responded and transported the victim to an area hospital.

Due to the severity of the injuries, both Homicide and Eastern District Detectives are investigating.

Central District Shooting Investigation (Hospital Walk-In)

On Dec. 16, 2023, at approximately 7:22 a.m., a 22-year-old male victim reported hearing gunshots and being struck in the vicinity of the 400 block of East Baltimore Street.

The victim drove to a nearby hospital to seek medical treatment for his non-life-threatening injuries.

This is an ongoing investigation and there is no further information available at this time.
