Western District Shooting Investigation

On December 22, 2023, at approximately 4:48 p.m., officers responded to the 1500 block of  Eutaw Place to investigate a reported shooting.

Upon arrival, officers located a 46-year-old  male victim, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the right leg. The victim was transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. 

Western District Shooting detectives responded to the scene and assumed control of the investigation. Anyone with information is urged to contact Western District Shooting detectives at 410-396-2477.

Northeast District Shooting Investigation

On December 22, 2023, at approximately 2:30  p.m., Southeast District patrol officers responded to an area hospital for a walk-in victim seeking treatment.

Once at the hospital, officers located a 42-year-old female victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the left leg. The victim is listed in stable condition.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was shot in the rear of the 4600 block of Chartford Avenue by an unidentified male suspect. 

Northeast District Shooting detectives responded to the scene and assumed control of the investigation. Anyone with information is urged to contact Northeast District Shooting detectives at 410-396-2444.

Eastern District Homicide Investigation

On Dec. 22, 2023, at approximately 1:32 p.m., officers responded to the 1900 block of North Patterson Park Avenue to investigate a ShotSpotter alert, followed by a call for a shooting.

Upon arrival, officers discovered an unidentified male suffering from numerous gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to Johns Hopkins Hospital, where, despite life-saving measures, he was pronounced deceased.

Moments later, Northern District officers received a call for a walk-in shooting victim at an area hospital. Upon arrival, officers observed an unidentified male suffering from a gunshot wound.

Detectives, for now, believe that both victims originated from the Homicide that occurred in the 1900 block of Patterson Park Avenue.

Homicide detectives were notified and responded.

Northeast District Homicide Investigation

On Dec. 22, 2023, at approximately 7:55 a.m., officers responded to the 5600 block of Sinclair Lane to investigate a call for a shooting.

Upon arrival, officers discovered an unconscious 45-year-old male suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound. Medics responded to the scene, and despite life-saving measures, he was pronounced deceased on the scene.

Homicide detectives were notified and responded.
