Central District Shooting Investigation

On Feb. 19, 2024, at approximately 6:16 p.m., Central District patrol officers responded to the 1200 block of Homewood Avenue to investigate a ShotSpotter alert.

A short time later, a 33-year-old male victim walked to an area hospital seeking treatment for a gunshot wound to the upper left shoulder. The victim stated that he was shot in the 1200 block of Homewood Avenue. The victim is currently in stable condition.

Central District Shooting detectives responded to the scene and assumed control of the investigation. Anyone with information is urged to contact Central District Shooting detectives at 410-396-2411.

Northeast District Shooting Investigation

On Feb. 19, 2024, at approximately 7:46 a.m., Northeast District patrol officers responded to the 4500 block of Parkmont Avenue for a report of a shooting and vehicle crash. 

Once there, officers located a 42-year-old female suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.

The victim was transported to an area hospital where her injuries are considered to be non-life threatening.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was attempting to flee from an unidentified armed suspect who fired at the victim, striking her in the body. The victim then crashed her vehicle causing it to overturn.

Northwest District Shooting Investigation

On Feb.19, 2024, at approximately 7:20 a.m., patrol officers responded to an area hospital for a report of a walk-in shooting victim. 

Once there, officers located a 30-year-old male suffering from an apparent non-life-threatening gunshot wound.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was shot by an unidentified suspect while in the 3100 block of West North Avenue.
