Southwest District Shooting Investigation (Hospital Walk-In)

On Jan. 2, 2024, at approximately 12:24 p.m., a ShotSpotter alert came out in the vicinity of the 100 block of South Calverton Road. Officers responded and located a crime scene.

A short time after, officers received a call notifying them of a walk-in victim at an area hospital.

The 26-year-old male victim was suffering from apparent non-life-threatening multiple gunshot wounds.

Southwest District Detectives are investigating. Anyone with information is urged to contact them at 410-396-2488.

Southwest District Homicide Investigation

On Jan. 2, 2024, at approximately 2:15 a.m., officers responded to reports of a ShotSpotter alert in the unit block of N. Bentalou Street. Upon canvassing the area, officers discovered an unidentified male victim unresponsive and not breathing.

Medics responded and determined the victim had suffered an apparent gunshot wound.

Northeast District Serious Cutting Investigation

On Jan. 2, 2024, at approximately 3:16 a.m., officers responded to multiple calls concerning a victim in the 5300 block of Goodnow Road.

Officers located an unidentified female suffering from apparent multiple stab wounds in the 5300 block of Sinclair Lane.

The Baltimore City Fire Department responded and transported the victim to an area hospital where she is currently listed in stable condition.
