Southwest District Shooting Investigation 

On July 3, 2023, at approximately 5:44 p.m., officers responded to an area hospital to investigate a walk-in shooting victim. 

Upon arrival, officers observed a 20-year-old male suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to his arm. 

Preliminary Investigation revealed that the victim was shot in the 2400 block of Washington Boulevard. 

Southwest District Shooting detectives responded and assumed control over this investigation.

Western District Homicide Investigation

On July 3, 2023, at approximately 3:14 p.m., officers responded to the 2200 block of West Baltimore Street to investigate a report of a shooting.

Upon arrival, officers observed an unidentified male suffering from numerous life-threatening gunshot wounds. Medics responded and transported the victim to the University of Maryland Medical Center, Shock Trauma, where he was later pronounced deceased.

Homicide detectives responded and assumed control over this investigation.

Southeast District Shooting Investigation

On July 3, 2023, at approximately 3:09 a.m., Southeast District patrol officers responded to the 400 block of South Broadway, for a report of a shooting.

Once there, officers located a 66-year-old male suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the lower body.

The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment.

Investigators have determined the shooting occurred in the 1700 block of Gough Street, where a crime scene was located.

Southeast District Homicide Investigation

On July 3, 2023, at approximately 2:53 a.m., Southeast District patrol officers responded to the 2000 block of Fleet Street, in reference to a discharging.

Once there, officers located a 33-year-old male, unresponsive, with an apparent gunshot wound.

Medics responded to the location and pronounced the victim dead on the scene.

Southern District Shooting Investigation

On July 3, 2023, at approximately 2:16 a.m., Southern District patrol officers responded to the 100 block of East Patapsco Avenue, for a report of a shooting.

Once there, officers located a 60-year-old male suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the upper body.

The victim was transported to an area hospital where he is listed in critical condition.
