Northeast District Shooting Investigation

On June 1, 2023, at approximately 5:07 p.m., officers responded to the 5300 block of Frankford Avenue to investigate a report of a shooting.

Upon arrival, officers observed a 43-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound to his lower body. Medics transported the victim to an area hospital for treatment of his injuries.

Northeast District Shooting detectives responded and assumed control over this investigation.

Western District Shooting Investigation

On June 1, 2023, at approximately 2:40 p.m., officers responded to the 1800 block of North Mount Street to investigate a ShotSpotter alert.

Upon arrival, officers observed a 53-year-old female suffering from a gunshot wound to her right hand. Medics transported the victim to an area hospital for treatment of her injuries.

Western District Shooting detectives responded and assumed control over this investigation.

Northeast District Homicide Investigation

On June 1, 2023, at approximately 1:10 a.m., Northeast District patrol officers responded to the 5200 block of Saybrook Road, for a report of a shooting.

Once there, officers located a 28-year-old male suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.

The victim was transported to an area hospital where he later died.
