Northeast District Homicide Investigation

On March 16, 2023, at approximately 9:47 a.m., Northeast District patrol officers responded to the 2300 block of East Northern Parkway, for a report of a shooting.

Once there, officers located an adult male suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.

The victim was transported to an area hospital where he later died.

Northwest District Shooting Investigation

On March 16, 2023, at approximately 8:08 a.m., Northwest District patrol officers responded to a fire station at 3906 Liberty Heights Avenue, for a report of a shooting victim seeking help.

Once there, officers located a 36-year-old male suffering from an apparent non-fatal gunshot wound.

Medics transported the victim to an area hospital for treatment.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was attempting to tow a vehicle in the 2900 block of Garrison Boulevard when he was shot.

Western District Homicide Investigation

On March 16, 2023, at approximately 8:03 a.m., Western District patrol officers responded to the 600 block of North Arlington Avenue, for a person lying in the street.

Once there, officers located an adult male, unresponsive, suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.

The victim was pronounced dead on the scene.
