Central District Homicide Investigation

On March 2, 2024,  at approximately 11:39 p.m., Central District officers responded to the 1400 block of E. Biddle Street in reference to a ShotSpotter alert. 

Once there, officers located an 35-year-old male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Medics transported the victim to Johns Hopkins Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased by medical personnel.

Homicide investigators responded to the scene and assumed control over the investigation.

Southeast District Shooting Investigation

On March 2, 2024, at approximately 12:34 p.m., officers received a ShotSpotter alert for discharging near the intersection of N. Montford Ave and McElderry St.

Responding officers located a 20-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound to his ankle in the 600 block of N. Montford Ave. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

Southeast District shooting detectives responded and assumed control over the investigation.
