Northern District Shooting Investigation

On November 21, 2023, at approximately 9:53 p.m., officers responded to the 3300 block of Guilford Avenue in the rear to investigate a reported discharging.

Upon arrival, officers located a 28-year-old  male victim, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the thigh. The victim was transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Southern District Shooting Investigation

On November 21, 2023, at approximately 9:25 p.m., Southern District patrol officers responded to an area hospital for a walk-in victim seeking treatment.

Once at the hospital, officers located a 17-year-old male victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the left leg. The victim is listed in stable condition.

The victim stated he was in the 200 block of Reedbird Avenue, when he was shot.

Northwest District Homicide Investigation

On Nov. 21, 2023, at approximately 10:14 a.m., Northwest District patrol officers were called to a wooded area in the 2500 block of North Dukeland Street, for a report of an unresponsive male.

Once there, officers located an adult male with an apparent fatal gunshot wound.

The victim's body was transported to the Medical Examiner's office for autopsy.

Eastern District Shooting Investigation

On Nov. 21, 2023, at approximately 8:48 a.m., Eastern District patrol officers responded to the  1900 block of Belair Road, for a report of a shooting.

Once there, officers located a 61-year-old male suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the arm.

The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
