Southeast District Shooting Investigation

On October 14, 2023, at approximately 7:04 p.m., officers responded to the 2800 block of East Fayette Street to investigate a call for a shooting.

Upon arrival, officers observed a 20-year-old male suffering from numerous non-life-threatening gunshot wounds. Medics transported the victim to an area hospital where he is receiving treatment for his injuries.

Southeast District Shooting detectives responded and assumed control over this investigation.

Southern District Shooting Investigation

On October 14, 2023, at approximately 11:40 a.m., officers responded to the 3800 block of West Bay Avenue to investigate a call for a shooting.

Upon arrival, officers observed a 46-year-old male suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. Medics transported the male to an area hospital to receive treatment for his injury. 

Southern District Shooting detectives responded and assumed control over this investigation.

Southwest District Homicide Investigation

On October 13, 2013, at approximately 11:35 p.m., officers responded to the intersection of Ramsay Street and South Gilmor Street to assist the fire department.

Upon arrival, officers were advised that two unidentified males were covered in blood. One of the males suffered numerous life-threatening stab wounds and was transported by medics to an area hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased. The other unidentified male, still on the scene, suffered minor injuries and was treated by medics.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the incident had occurred in the 1600 block of Ramsay Street.

Homicide detectives responded and assumed control over this investigation.
