Northeast District Shooting Investigation

On September 3, 2023, at approximately 10:24 a.m., Northeast District patrol officers responded to an area hospital for a report of a walk-in shooting victim.

Once there, officers located a 35-year-old male suffering from an apparent non-life threatening gunshot wound.

Investigators learned the shooting occurred in the 4400 block of Parkside Drive, at approximately 7 a.m.

Southeast District Shooting Investigation

On September 3, 2023, at approximately 3:21 a.m., Southeast District patrol officers were called to the 500 block of North Luzerne Avenue, for a Shot Spotter alert.

As officers canvassed the area, they located a 25-year-old male suffering from apparent gunshot wounds in the 2500 block of Jefferson Street.

Medics transported the victim to an area hospital for treatment.

Central District Homicide Investigation

On September 3, 2023, at approximately 1:18 a.m., Central District patrol officers were on routine patrol when they heard discharging coming from a club in the unit block of Custom House Avenue.

Officers entered the location and located a 29-year-old male suffering from life threatening gunshot wounds.

The victim was transported to an area hospital where he later died.

Homicide detectives are asking anyone with information to contact them at 410-396-2100 or Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7Lockup.

Central District Shooting Investigation

On September 3, 2023, at approximately 12:50 a.m., Central District patrol officers were on routine patrol when they heard discharging in the area.

Officers canvassed the neighborhood and located a blood trail in the 1700 block of Fleet Street. Officers continued their search and located a 34-year-old male suffering from apparent gunshot wounds at the intersection of Orleans Street at North Central  Avenue.

Medics arrived to the scene and transported the victim to an area hospital for treatment.
