Northern District Shooting Investigation 

On April 12, 2024, at approximately 11:23 p.m., Northern District patrol officers responded to the 600 block of Homestead Avenue to investigate a caller who stated she shot a male who was attacking her. 

A short time later a victim walked into an area hospital seeking treatment for a gunshot wound.

Upon arrival hospital, officers located a 53-year-old male victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the body. The victim has non-life-threatening injuries.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was shot in the 600 block of Homestead Avenue by his domestic partner. A person of interest has been taken into custody.

Central District Shooting Investigation

On April 12, 2024, at approximately 7:55 p.m., Central District patrol officers were dispatched to the 600 block of Orchard Street for a reported shooting.

Upon arrival, officers located a 35-year-old male victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the leg. The victim was transported to an area hospital and listed in stable condition.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the shooting took place in the 700 block of Druid Hill Avenue.

Southwest District Shooting Investigation

On April 12, 2024, at approximately 2:54 p.m., Southwest District patrol officers responded to the 2000 block of West Pratt Street to investigate a shot-spotter alert.

A short time later a victim walked into an area hospital seeking treatment for a gunshot wound.

Upon arrival hospital, officers located an unidentified male victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds body. The victim has non-life-threatening injuries.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was shot in the 2000 block of West Pratt Street.

Southwest District Shooting detectives responded to the scene and assumed control of the investigation. Anyone with information is urged to contact  Southwest District Shooting detectives at 410-396-2488.

Southwest District Shooting Investigation

On April 12, 2024, at approximately 12:01 a.m., Southwest District patrol officers responded to the 600 block of South Beechfield Avenue for a report of discharging.

Once there, officers located a 45-year-old male suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Responding officers immediately began to render aid to the victim until medics arrived on the scene and transported the victim to an area hospital for

treatment.
