Southwest District Shooting Investigation

On April 29, 2024, at around 8:20 p.m., officers responded to an area hospital to investigate a report of a walk-in shooting victim.

Upon arrival, officers observed a 36-year-old female suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was shot in the 300 block of South Pulaski Street.

Southwest District Shooting detectives responded and assumed control over this investigation.

Northwest District Shooting Investigation

On April 29, 2024, at approximately 10:53 a.m., Northwest District patrol officers responded to the 4700 block of Garrison Boulevard, for a report of a shooting.

Once there, officers located a 36-year-old female suffering from an apparent non-life-threatening gunshot wound and an unidentified adult male suffering from apparent life-threatening gunshot wounds.

Medics responded to the location and transported both victims to area hospitals for treatment.
