Western District Shooting Investigation

On Jan. 30, 2024, at approximately 10:01 p.m., officers responded to the 1700 block of Division Street to investigate a ShotSpotter alert.

Upon arrival, officers observed a 17-year-old male suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. Medics transported the victim to an area hospital to receive treatment for his injury.

Western District Shooting detectives responded and assumed control over this investigation.

Northern District Homicide Investigation

On Jan. 30, 2024,  at approximately 4:33 p.m., Northern District officers were dispatched to the 4000 block of Wilsby Avenue to investigate a reported shooting.

Officers responded to the location and observed a 36-year-old male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Medics transported the victim to an area hospital where, despite life-saving measures, he was pronounced deceased.

Homicide detectives responded and assumed control over the investigation.

Northern District Shooting Investigation

On Jan. 30, 2024,  at approximately 4:33 p.m., Northern District officers were dispatched to the 4000 block of Wilsby Avenue to investigate a reported shooting.

Officers responded to the location and observed a 25-year-old male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to an area hospital and is in stable condition.

Northern District Shooting detectives responded and assumed control over the investigation.

Southwest District Homicide Investigation

On January 30, 2024, at approximately 8:06 a.m., Southwest District patrol officers responded to a vacant building in the 1100 block of West Baltimore Street, for a report of an unresponsive person.

Once there, officers located an unidentified adult male suffering from apparent trauma to the body.

Medics arrived at the location and pronounced the victim dead on the scene.
