Southern District Homicide Investigation

On June 28, 2023, at approximately 8:57 p.m., officers responded to the 2600 block of West Patapsco Avenue to investigate a call for a shooting.

Upon arrival, officers observed a 38-year-old male suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound. Medics responded and transported the victim to an area hospital to receive treatment for his injury. Despite life-saving measures, the victim succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased a short time later.

Northwest District Homicide Investigation

On June 28, 2023, at approximately 6:43 p.m., officers were patrolling the 5200 block of Reisterstown Road when they were flagged down by an individual who stated that another individual was shot at the intersection of West Belvedere Avenue and Reisterstown Road.

Upon arriving at the intersection of West Belvedere Road and Reisterstown Road, officers observed a 47-year-old male suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to his leg and an unresponsive unidentified male suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound. Medics transported both victims to an area hospital to receive treatment for their injuries. Despite life-saving measures, the unidentified male was pronounced deceased.  

Preliminary Investigation revealed that the victims were shot in the 5100 block of Reisterstown Road.

Homicide detectives responded and assumed control over this investigation.

Northeast District Homicide Investigation

On June 28, 2023, at approximately 2:16 a.m., Northeast District patrol officers responded to the 2600 block of Harford Road, in reference to a Shot Spotter alert.

Once there, officers located a 21-year-old male suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Medics responded to the location and pronounced the victim dead on the scene.

Northwest District Shooting Investigation

On June 28, 2023, at approximately 2:59 p.m., Northwest District officers responded to the 6600 block of Reisterstown Road to Investigate discharging.

Once at the location, Officers did an area canvas and found evidence of discharging of a firearm in the Home Depot parking lot.

A short time later, officers were called to an area hospital for a walk-in shooting victim seeking treatment for an apparent gunshot wound to the body. Officers responded to the hospital and located a 21-year-old male victim being treated for a non-life-threatening injury.

A preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was in the Home Depot parking lot when an unidentified suspect shot him.

Northwest District Shooting detectives responded to the scene and assumed control over the investigation. Anyone with information is urged to contact Northwest District Shooting detectives at 410-396-2466.
