Southern District Shooting Investigation

On March 24, 2025, at approximately 9:56 p.m., Southern District patrol officers responded to an area hospital for a report of a walk-in shooting victim.

Once there, officers located a 24-year-old male suffering from an apparent non-life-threatening gunshot wound.

Preliminary information revealed the victim was shot in the 3000 block of South Hanover Street, where a call for a shooting first was received.
