Western District Shooting Investigation

On October  6, 2023, at approximately 1 a.m., Western District patrol officers responded to the 1800 block of Clifton Avenue, for a report of a shooting.

Once there, officers located a 31-year-old male suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the upper body.

The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment.

Eastern District Homicide Investigation

On October 6, 2023, at approximately 6:17 p.m., officers responded to the 2000 block of Cliftwood Avenue to investigate a reported shooting.

Upon arrival, officers located a 28-year-old male victim unresponsive, suffering from a multiple gunshot wound to the body. The victim was transported to an area hospital and was pronounced deceased a short time later by hospital staff.

Southern District Shooting Investigation

On Oct. 6, 2023, at approximately 8:58 p.m., Southern District patrol officers responded to the 1200 block of Washington Boulevard, for a Shot Spotter alert.

Once at the location, officers located a 22-year-old male victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the upper leg. Medics transported the victim to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
