On September 9, 2023, at approximately 4:38 p.m., officers responded to the rear of the 6100 block of Bowleys Lane to investigate a call for a body in the woods.

Upon arrival, officers observed an unidentified deceased body with signs of trauma. The Medical Examiner’s Office responded, took possession of the body, and will conduct an autopsy to determine the cause of death and identity.

Homicide detectives responded and assumed control over this investigation.
