Northeast District Murder Arrest

On April 19, 2023, members of the Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force (CARFTF) arrested 48-year-old Marvelle Worsley of Baltimore, in the 1800 block of Harford Road in Baltimore County.

Investigators believe that on April 1, 2023, Worsley shot four individuals, killing 41-year-old Girard Smith, 49-year-old Charles Murray, and 69-year-old Darlene Briscoe, while also leaving a 31-year-old female in critical condition, in the 3200 block of Woodring Avenue.

Worsley was transported by detectives to the Central Booking Intake Facility where he has been charged with three counts of 1st Degree Murder, one count of 1st Degree Attempted Murder, and various handgun violations.

Northeast District Homicide Investigation

On April 1, 2023, at approximately 8:43 p.m., Northeast District officers responded to the 3200 block of Woodring Avenue to investigate a reported shooting.

Upon arrival, officers located two males, ages 49 and 41. Both were pronounced deceased at the scene.

Officers then located a 31-year-old female and a 69-year-old female, both of whom were transported to an area hospital by medics.  The 69-year-old female was pronounced deceased a short time later by medical personnel while the 31-year-old remains in critical condition.

Homicide detectives have responded and are investigating this incident.
