Northern District Homicide Arrest
In reference to the homicide that occurred on June 10, 2023, in the Northern District, officers have arrested 26-year-old Allen Jones of Baltimore.
Investigators learned that Allen Jones fatally stabbed his mother, 43-year-old Carla Jones, at their home in the 400 block of Lorraine Avenue, following a dispute.
Officers transported Allen Jones to an area hospital for a psychological evaluation then to Central Booking Intake facility where he was charged with 1st degree murder.

Northern District Homicide Investigation
On June 10, 2023, at approximately 6:33 a.m., Northern District patrol officers responded to the 400 block of Lorraine Avenue for a reported stabbing investigation.
Once at the location, officers located a 43-year-old female victim suffering from an apparent stab wound lying unresponsive inside the residence. Medics responded and pronounced the victim deceased a short time later.
A relative of the victim was taken into custody at the location after admitting to officers that he stabbed the victim.
