Northeast District Shooting Investigation

On May 6, 2024, at around 6:47 p.m., a 38-year-old female walked into the Northeast District located at 1900 Argonne Drive and reported that she was shot on May 5, 2024, in the 5500 block of Belair Road.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the victim had gotten into a verbal turned physical altercation with a female suspect, who had proceeded to shoot the victim during the altercation. After being shot, the victim went home and then to an area hospital the next day, on May 6, 2024. The victim suffered a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.

Northeast District Shooting detectives were advised of the incident and assumed control over this investigation.

Western District Shooting Investigation (Hospital Walk-In)

On May 5, 2024, at approximately 11:56 p.m., officers responded to the 2800 block of Edmondson Avenue for a Shot Spotter alert.

Upon arrival, they located several casings at the scene.

A short time later, a 36-year-old male victim walked into an area hospital with an apparent non-life-threatening gunshot wound.

Update: Southern District Homicide Investigation

On May 5, 2024, at approximately 10:39 p.m., officers responded to the 1000 block of Leadenhall Street for reports of a shooting.

Upon arrival, officers located an unidentified victim suffering from apparent multiple gunshot wounds.

Medics transported the victim to an area hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.

Northern District Homicide Investigation

On May 5, 2024, at approximately 12:24 a.m., officers responded to the 3300 block of Reisterstown Road in reference to a shooting.

At that location, officers found two individuals suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.

One victim, a 25-year-old male, was pronounced deceased at an area hospital. The other victim is a 26-year-old male. His condition is unknown at this time.
