Southern District Attempted Murder Arrest

In reference to the shooting that occurred on December 2, 2022, in the Southern District, investigators have arrested a 16-year-old male from Baltimore.

Investigators believe the 16-year-old suspect shot the 62-year-old male victim, in the100 block of West Hamburg Street, during the course of a robbery.

Warrant Apprehension detectives arrested the 16-year-old male on December 14, 2022, while in the Northwest District. The suspect was transported to Central Booking Intake Facility where he has been charged with attempted first degree murder.

Southern District Shooting Investigation

On December 2, 2022, at approximately 2:40 p.m., Southern District officers were dispatched to the 100 block of West Hamburg Street to investigate a reported shooting.

When officers arrived at the location, they canvassed the area and discovered an unidentified male suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
