On April 20, 2024, at around 7:04 p.m., officers responded to the 400 block of Maude Avenue to investigate a call for an aggravated assault by shooting.

Upon arrival, officers observed a 36-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound. Medics transported the victim to an area hospital to receive treatment for his injury.

Detectives located a crime scene in the 500 block of Annabel Avenue.

Southern District Shooting detectives responded and assumed control over this investigation.
