Southwest District Attempted Murder Arrest

In reference to the shooting that occurred in the Southwest District on Sept. 30, 2023, detectives have arrested 25-year-old Diante Wilson of Baltimore.

Investigators learned that a 34-year-old male victim was in the 4500 block of Edmondson Avenue when he was shot.

On Nov. 1, 2023, detectives arrested Diante Wilson and transported him to the Central Booking Intake Facility, where he was charged with attempted first-degree murder.

Southwest District Shooting Investigation

On Sept. 30, 2023, at approximately 11:27 p.m., Southwest District patrol officers responded to the 4500 block of Edmondson Avenue to investigate a reported shooting.

Once at the location, officers located a 34-year-old male victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the right forearm. The victim was transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The victim is being uncooperative with investigators; the incident location is unknown at this time.
