On October 26, 2023, at approximately 9:15 p.m., officers responded to the Unit block of South Arlington Avenue to investigate a reported shooting.

Upon arrival, officers located an unidentified male victim, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the chest. The victim was transported to an area hospital and was pronounced deceased a short time later by hospital staff.
