Western District Homicide Arrest

In reference to the homicide that occurred in the Western District on March 15, 2024, investigators have arrested 30-year-old Reginald Peay of Baltimore.

Investigators learned that Peay shot and killed 35-year-old Lenora Alston while in the 1000 block of Fulton Avenue, just after 2 a.m.

Peay, who was being held at the Central Booking Intake Facility on a handgun violation, was officially charged with first-degree murder on March 21, 2024.

Reginald Peay is currently being held without bail.

Western District Homicide Investigation

On March 15, 2024, at approximately 2:17 a.m., Western District patrol officers responded to the 1000 block of Fulton Avenue for a report of gunfire.

Once there, officers located a 35-year-old female suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.

Medics transported the victim to an area hospital where she later died.
