In reference to the homicide that occurred on March 21, 2023, in the Western District, investigators have arrested 46-year-old Ricky Crenshaw of Baltimore.

Investigators believe Crenshaw shot and killed 33-year-old Terence Cheatham of Randallstown following a dispute in the 2100 block of Edmondson Avenue.

Crenshaw, who was already being held at Central Booking Intake Facility on firearm-related charges, was charged with 1st-degree murder on March 28, 2023.

 Western District Homicide Investigation 

On March 21, 2023, at approximately 2:51 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 2100 block of Edmondson Avenue in response to a shooting. 

Upon arriving at the location, officers observed a 33-year-old male suffering from gunshot wounds. Medics responded and transported the victim to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased.

 Homicide detectives responded to the scene and assumed control over the investigation. 

Preliminary information revealed that the suspect and victim were engaged in a verbal argument prior to the shooting.
