In reference to the shooting that occurred in the Eastern District, Baltimore City detectives have arrested 44-year-old Christopher Leigh of Baltimore.

On July 12, 2026, at approximately 10:08 p.m., officers were patrolling in the area of Pennsylvania Avenue when they were approached by an individual who reported having been shot in the 1200 block of Laurens Street.

On July 11, 2026, at approximately 8:32 p.m., officers responded to the 2100 block of Sinclair Lane to investigate a reported shooting.

On July 10, 2026, at approximately 4:41 p.m., officers responded to the 1400 block of East Cold Spring Lane for a reported shooting.
