In reference to the homicide that occurred in the Eastern District on July 16, 2024, investigators have arrested 42-year-old Leon Spencer of Baltimore.

On July 19, 2024, detectives arrested 28-year-old Tyrone Blackwell of Baltimore. 

On July 21, 2024, at approximately 8:10 p.m., Western District patrol officers along with MTA Police, responded to the Mondawmin Metro Center, in the 2300 block of Liberty Heights Avenue, for a report of a shooting.
