On January 2, 2024, at approximately 10:48 p.m., Eastern District patrol officers responded to the 2600 block of East Federal Street for a report of a shooting.

On January 1, 2025, at approximately 10:18 p.m., Eastern District patrol officers responded to an area hospital for a report of a walk-in shooting victim.

In reference to the homicide that occurred on December 14, 2023 in the Southwest District, detectives have charged 42-year-old Tracy Jeter from Baltimore.
