On October 4, 2024, at approximately 10:03 p.m., Northern District patrol officers responded to the 3500 block of Cottage Avenue to investigate a reported shooting. Short time later a male walked into an area hospital seeking treatment for a gunshot wound.

In reference to the shooting that occurred in the Southern District on June 30, 2024, investigators have arrested 31-year-old Chardon Cruz of Baltimore.

On October 2, 2024, at approximately 9:49 p.m., Southwest District patrol officers responded to the 2500 block of McHenry Street to investigate discharging of a firearm.

The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) is investigating a series of robberies, assaults, and a stolen auto incident that occurred the morning of October 2, 2024, resulting in multiple arrests.
